Lacquer paints are better suited to the home hobbyist that doesn't have a paint booth or adequate air flow, as they dry faster, and they don't have the issues such as iso's to contend with. But I don't think you'll find that the lacquer system will even begin to hold up like todays urethanes will. Lacquer does shrink, crack, etc when it gets some age on it. Where a garage kept vehicle that sees little temperature change may hold up better, wide temperature swings that most of us see in the change of seasons, and unprotected exposure if left sitting outside (ie: no garage) will indeed affect the life of the paint.
But to answer your question, no I have not used it. Having to warranty a paint finish and using a product that is prone to cracking and shrinking just don't go hand in hand.
