Power steering pump help
I have a power steering leak on the back of the pump are 2 green plugs plastic the lower port was leaking I replaced the plugs with some bolts with some RTV in the bolts the lower hole is still leaking pretty bad. I did not see any place for a seal are there specific plugs that go in these holes if so where can I find some. I have seen pictures with the lower hole with a fitting with a stud on it. Any help would be great

Re: Power steering pump help
Normally there are bolts in there and O-rings between the tin cover and cast pump housing. Chances are some of the O-rings are gone.
I'd blast it off w/ some brake cleaner, pull it apart and see. |

I'll pull the bolt out tomorrow and clean it up and see can the oring be replaced? I was thinking of filling the hole with JB weld tired of this leak
