Hey Leon, quick question. Do you know if an ignition switch from a 69 will plug into a 68 wiring harness? thanks

The answer would be yes.... "but" you have to make sure both switches have the accessory position built in. The wiring is different on the two. The problem is that some of the '68's had the accessory position and some didn't. All '69's did. LockDoc

It really doesn't matter how a '68 truck is optioned as to whether it would have the accessory position or not. It depends on when and where it was made. It seems that some of the early production '68's from certain plants had the '67 style switches with no accessory position. As to whether it would work or not, I don't know. If you have both wire looms you could check the color coding on the connector and see if they are the same.... LockDoc
