Re: crew cab tow vehicle build

Any chance that one of the 4 door guys can tell me if the upper door hinge needs to be moved down or is it just cosmetic to match the other side?

That is awesome. Serious slice and dice. And I thought I was not skeeerd of jumping in the middle of a serious build. Heck yours makes my project look tame. Like it.

It's done so that the window can be rolled down on the inside.

Re: crew cab tow vehicle build

I'm curious, what did you use for the B-pillar between the drivers doors?

Also what made up the front half of the 4th door?

Thanks,
Ryan

Re: crew cab tow vehicle build

The pillar is made of a piece of 3x3 3/16 square tube that I got from a buddy of mine. As for the front of the 4th door it is actually the rear (latch side) of a passenger side door that I had to hack apart. I had an extra set of doors from my other truck I built a few years back that were in poor shape.

Nice work on the door. All that extra work will pay off when it's done.

Bolted the front end on to move it outside and decided might as well throw an old door skin on
