One more thing, I do not have any loose 3/4 backing plates to measure so I have been drawing everything by the factory numbers. Then making paper cutouts and checking fit that way.

Yeah, someone told me they used 2-1/2 x 2-1/2 x .250 wall square tubing.
Sounded like a plan, to me. Just gotta get around to going over to the steel supply company and pick some up. I might wait awhile, tho, as Im thinkin' that steel prices should go down a little, eventually. As Im sure you know, they went up a helluva lot, in the last week, or so. Not that it really matters, 'cause I havta wait, until it thaws out outside anyway :p When the time comes, Im thinkin' I might just weld 'em on at the same angle, as the factory perches. Or perhaps just add a couple of degrees, arbitrarily. I've got Rancho blocks in back, for a 4" lift, right now, and...even with 6" of lift and a really short (104") wheelbase, Ive never had any vibes, or anything. Or maybe I just don't notice 'em...LOL!! -Marty |
