put a little anti sieze silver on before you put them back on you wont believe how easy they come off after that

This solution worked very well: I have a set of cone wrenches for bicycle maintenance. Being thin, two cone wrenches could fit behind the arm and go around the shaft. Then a thin-blade screwdriver could be inserted between the wrenches pushing them apart and pushing the arm off the shaft.

It is funny to me that what was common knowledge several years ago has become kind of obscure. All the cars and trucks I ever owned back in the day had the wipers like these. Even my 1946 Ford coupe had the same setup but the arms were smaller. Same tool removes all of them. When the imports started coming in back in the 60's they had the style that we see today. I forget that the younger people have not been around these kind of things.
