Engine Compartment AC Generator
Years ago I worked with a guy that had full AC outlets under his hood.
We could run some basic power tools off it for construction jobs off the grid. It wasn't an inverter, it was a pretty good size generator. We loose our power a lot where I live. But I'd also like to have it for running power tools in the field. Any ideas on how to set something like that up for our trucks?

http://www.fabcopower.com/generat/bgen.htm It seems to be along the lines of what you're looking for. They're not cheap, though. They start at $884. |
