1970 k20 4x4 clutch linkage question
My z bar appears to be too far forward on the engine. Am I missing a bracket? My 2wd has a bracket and this 4wd only has a ball stud?
Thanks!

Re: 1970 k20 4x4 clutch linkage question
The engine sits back closer to the firewall on a 4wd, so the z-bar stud is farther forward and just screws directly into the forward hole.

Hard to tell from the photos but, I agree. Something doesn't look right. The z-bar should be perpendicular to the frame and the engine.
Take a look at this thread: https://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/...d.php?t=742016
