Radiator Holder

On my 79 suburban it currently has a 4 core radiator but is leaking so I ordered a new Campion American Eagle 2 core AE716 but now the the radiator is thinner and shorter than the original so the original radiator support bracket does not work. Looking for any options. Right now I stole my 70 c10 holders but as you can see do not fit ideally.

Doers not have to be a factory look but something that looks solid.

Was wondering if #3 on this diagram would work?

Re: Radiator Holder

you could try the SBC version? But i think your problem the the rubber as much as the radiator. there is a lot of slop due to the different design.

Is the radiator returnable?

It is a sbc truck, looking at the light service manual I have the one on the left. I was debating the other two or i just need to make a bracket. I looked at champion and all of the radiators for a c10 are the same external dimensions so I would run into the same issue.
