15x8 truck rally to 15x10

Hi guys, my 69 c10 has 15x8 truck rally wheels (4.0” BS) with 275/60/15 BFG tires all around.

I am very fond of the 15x10 look on the rears (BS of around 4.25”). I’m hoping you guys can provide some feedback to what my options are.

Does anyone around the country modify the stock wheels that can take my wheels and widen them 2 inches? Backspacing of anywhere between 4.0-4.5” should be fine.

I think Wheel Vintiques makes a 15x10 truck rally but I’m not sure how closely they match to my front wheels (15x8 truck Rally). Thank you

Re: 15x8 truck rally to 15x10

I had Stockton Wheel rehoop some 15x8 Rally wheels to convert them to 15x7. They weren't cheap, but they turned out great.

Thank you, I’ve heard of these guys and actually tried calling and emailing them and never received a reply. Their Yelp reviews are pretty bad.

Wheels America repaired a lot of my track wheels over the years including replacing barrels. They should be able to help.

Wheel Vintiques is an option, do they accept oem centercaps?

Also, I think Weldcraft (if I recall) can only widen to the inside. I would need my wheels widened to the outside, not inside.

Ugh, a solution doesn’t look as straightforward as I would like.

OE 6 lug rally wheels have 10 slots, and the 5 lug rally wheels have 16.

You sir are correct, my error.

In this case the Wheel Vintques wheels are an option. Wonder if they accept the stock center caps ?

Re: 15x8 truck rally to 15x10

Picture of the wheels shows the holes for the stock center caps.
At the most you would have to tap them out for the correct 5/16” bolts.

If you are keeping the 15x8 with 275/60/15 up front what size tire would you use with the 15x10 in the rear?

Looks like US Wheel is offering the truck rally wheels now, too.

They do, though it's a bit tougher to pull the caps off on the wider wheels.

Wider 'steelies' w/poverty or dog-dish caps (that snap over the 'nubs') are harder to pull the caps off of with the deeper centers.

A truck ralley w/their bolt-on center caps would be no different removing the caps w/a deeper center vs a narrower/different size w/a shallower center.
