71 Drivetrain, 68 frame; any issues?
I plan on building my truck using a '68 SWB frame I got nearly free, using the drivetrain of my '71 Cheyenne LWB [both trucks are 2WD]. Before I prep the '68 frame I thought I better ask you guys if the front and rear suspensions mounting points are the same, and also will mounting the '71 front clip on the '68 frame be a problem?
I got the '68 frame a few years ago, and have always assumed the frames were the same [except the wheelbase], but I thought I should check first. Thanks! |
