Today's lesson.....
Well Kids,
Today's lesson is don't overtighten bolts on dinosaurs with hard to find parts. While tightening the bolts on the thermostat housing...I hear a distinct "crack". I say to myself "No, you didn't hear that, and surely you didn't do that either." Well I fired it up and filled it back up with coolant... and sure enough I see a leak above the bottom bolt. Glad I'm connected... I ordered a new one and will get it about 11 in the morning tommorrow. I'm surprised what the average parts house stocks for that 305v6. So kids remember the tighter you get the bolt the looser your wallet gets...$20.99 for a 1/4 turn....sheesh
