Baby Steps

Pics of my rear end rebuild. Looking at the pics you would think this took about 30 minutes. I guess I have been watching too many tv resto shows.

First pic is before the tear down.
Second is after sandblasting and grinding.
Third is after shooting two coats of PPG Epoxy Primer.
The last two are with the rear end replaced and a new set of 3/4 ton springs with five inches of lift. Custom made from Suspension King in Pennsylvania. Nice fit and helpful guys! I went through the rear end and replaced seals as the gears and bearings looked really good.
Planning on shooting the chassis again with a two part bed liner product. Leaning towards Al's Liner..

It's over 100 now in Texas so I am done for awhile!
