Building my Jimmy to scale

Not really a jimmy though. Can't afford the GMC grill, so it will have to be close enough. The jimmy isn't done yet, but getting closer. I bought this boondocker partial built model a while back. Started re-doing it last winter, but at the time I was using the model to try out different colors for the jimmy. Now I have the color, the chassis is pretty much done, so I sprayed the model with the real jimmy paint and can finish up the model anyway.

Not sure if you can tell in the pics, but I did sand the ridge off the hood like the one I built for the jimmy. I also sanded the side molding off the tub. I did not cut the bottom of the fenders though because I'm not sure what I'm doing for a bumper yet. Like I said, not exact replica, but it'll be similar. I should try to find some aluminum slot type wheels for it.
