Altman Easy Latch and Door Adjustment

So I installed the Altman Easy Latch and was really pleased with how it came out. I have fiddled with the door and just cannot get it to line-up with the cab.
The door is a reproduction door, so I know there will be some 'anomalies' in how it fits, but I want to get it as close as possible.

I will say, I temporarily installed the door seal (slip-on type) to see what effect it has. I can get the door in square, but the door from about 6 inches below the gas cap up to the drip rail is about 1/8" - 3/16" proud of the cab along the door seam. Being a repop door, I know that the fit isn't going to be perfect, but I would like to get it as good as I can get it.

Is this something I am just going to have to live with? The truck by no means was assembled with precision...there are several build mistakes that I have corrected, but a couple I have not due to the complexity of the repair. I have just decided to leave those.

Any ideas/thoughts are welcome. Here are some pics of what I have:
