Colorado Board Members - Emissions ?
I'm considering a move to the metro Denver area next year and trying to determine if my '79 1/2 ton would have any issues with inspection. Are they really strict like California, or are they somewhat reasonable?
My truck is basically stock, but its missing some of the original underhood equipment that might be considered emissions stuff. A previous owner installed headers. I went back and installed used, dual cats to pass PA inspection. Obviously with the headers the heat riser equipment is long gone, and it has an open element air cleaner (easily remedied). The charcoal canister is present and functioning, as is the EGR system. The engine was recently overhauled and runs great. Oh yeah, it also has rust in the rocker panels, bottom of fenders, and inside bed. Floors are solid. Thanks in advance.
