Hello, I think this is my first topic here, can't remember

I've got an 85 C10 that I've been using as a daily driver and workin on for a while, and I got a new seat today out of a 78ish Chevy. My question is, the seat won't budge forward. (in other words, I can't get behind the seat). It should fold forward right? I can't figure out how to get it forward. Any tips? Thanks
