70 Blazer steering gear box question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Help me out guys! I Stripped one of the top bolt holes for the steering gear box to the frame, longer story but it happened. The other 3 are fine but I was going to fix it by putting a nut on the other end... Does that sound ok to you? I could redrill the hole and tap it bigger but there is not a lot of metal there to begin with so thought this would be an easy and fast fix. Need suggestions!!!
