steveon3 Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: eminence, ky Posts: 25	gear swap does anyone know if you can take the carrier and pinion and ring gear from a 67 closed knuckle and put it in a 74 front end? They are both dana 44 housing. with the 74 being an open knuckle? The old one has 456 gears that i want to use.
