64 Project in the desert

Hi to all... new to the site today... i've been reading & learning alot over the last few days. I have a 64 short step that's been sitting in the AZ desert for 12 years. Been crankin' on it for a couple months and am about to stuff a temproray motor in so I can get it mobile!!

I have a couple of questions for you...
#1 is a clutch config question...
the original (as i got it) was a 1965 327 w/ manual 3 speed. i've removed the 327 and am replacing with a temporary 1980 267 small block. problem is that the 267 does NOT have the tap cast in the block to receive the clutch assy bolt... (it had a TH350 on it) does anyone have a solution/vendor for this issue?

#2
been reading and am thinking that my parts truck - a 1980 1/2 ton with PDB will be a bolt up for the entire front suspension sytem... is that correct?

Thanks!
