New Appreciation for this board

I just bought my daughter a Honda Civic for a cheap car to drive. I went on a Honda board and they said there was Honda service manuals to download for free. I couldn't get them to download even after changing some privacy settings. After about five tries they loaded without timing out.

I asked a question regarding how to get them and I got everything from "download Adobe Acrobat" to "they work fine for me" Duhhhhh, some of us go to work and use pdf files frequently. I guarantee I could have created a pdf file of the manual that wouldn't have had a different file (each un-named) for each page of the manual!

Thinking it was just me and that they were probably trying to help with the obvious, I read a few more posts. They seem to love calling posters idiots. A different generation I guess.

That's why I'm here, because you guys all deliver the TLC we need! LOL
