Re: whats 20" wheels ride like?

MIne is on a 255/45/18 in the front and a 295/40/20 in the back. that set up is pretty conservaive but rides great. suspension has a lot to do with it, if you wack the springs run stock shocks and 20" tires, guess what, it'll ride like crap. If you run a good spring and spindle combo, flip the rear and not just start taking springs out, you'll have a truck that rides good and looks good. Also don't let anyone tell you to drop air pressure to make the ride better. Todays low profile tires are meant to run at a higher pressure. I run toyo proxes st tires on mine and they ride better at 40 psi than they do at 30 psi. with the right suspension set up, even a a 35 or 40 series 20 will ride good. (and handle even better), I have driven trucks with that set up also. The ride isn't any different to me than my dad's truck with 245/50/17s on it. good luck!
