Mech. clutch linkage question (name that part)

Hey guys,
Summer is here, so I can finally get some stuff that's been bothering me done, and first is this darn clutch pedal slop. The pedal depresses about an inch before the linkage even starts moving, and I had to adjust the clutch where the T/O bearing is almost always touching the pressure plate fingers, but it still really isn't enough. I think I found the culprit, whatever you call this thing... it was attached to the end of the pedal rod, as you can see it has little splines.

And I'm assuming this hole that the linkage goes though was round at one time and wore over time causing the slop.

Also made a little groove in the linkage..

Question is, are these parts factory? The diagram in th LMC catalog looks a little different. If it is, I'm guessing it's not reproduced? I found the linkage online, but not that other thing.

TIA
