72 SWB Cheyenne I saw today
I love coming across these trucks like this......SO I was cruisin' out in the country today and came across this bedless 72 SWB Cheyenne sitting next to the shed (This is ultimately what I would like as my next DD and rolling resto project)...it looked so lonely.....I knocked on the owners door and asked if he minded me looking at his truck...he said sure, and then he asked did I know it was for sale??....Ummmm no signs in the window, but I did have a inclination that it was....He couldn't fire it up b/c the battery was dead and said that the frame had been undercoated b/c it was bedless and he didn't want it to rust....He did have a bed for it in the shed, but it was missing the passenger side and it was primed.....I pulled back the carpet at the kick panels best i could....they looked really solid, and never been replaced (BUT wait....look at the last set of pics)
so before I tell you what he wanted for it.....what do you think it's worth (WIW)??
