I found a set of Motown 220 heads for $400.. opinions on my application.

I guess they were used in a drag car for a few passes. I had a leaking head gasket so I pulled my heads and I'm pretty much freshening up my top end. My lower end is all stock though. These heads are set up for a solid roller cam/lifters but they're swapping out the valve springs to stock springs so they work better for my application. I do plan on adding a cam and all of that good stuff in the future. Will these heads work well in in my application? These heads are around $1100 new.

My application:
350 cid
Headers
Edelbrok 1406 Carb
Aluminum Intake
Oreilly's Crate Motor
Stock Internals

Specs on the Motowns:
220 cc runners
64 cc chambers
2.05 x 1.60 severe duty valves
New Comp 10 degree retainers & locks
