Cam good for anything?

Ok so I know this cam is puny compared to what most of you are used to, heck its small compared to whats in my truck too, but I am building a 350 for another vehicle and I am wondering if this cam will work and what parts would help it out. I got this cam as part of a trade so I am hoping I can use it. Here are the specs:
Valve lift .422 int .444 exh
Lobe Centers 107 int 117 exh
Duration 278 int 288 exh
Dur. @ .050 204 int 214 exh

I wonder why the lift would be so low with that wide of duration. Maybe so it would work with stock valve springs? Appreciate the help
