Pick a donor truck for me
I just recently acquired a crew cab with no motor/tranny and a bad front clip, so I am looking at donor suburbans. I'm leaning toward the suburban so I can pull some of the airbag stuff and donate it toward the blazer, sell of whats left
first is an 85 gmc suburban (350cid + 0.060 over, tall pistons, 274 cam, Edelbrock intake/carb, headman headers, Accel Dist, etc) -- 700-R4 tranny (TCI kit - firmer shifts, B&M TV-Valve to hold 4th longer) 3" highflow cat behind the headers with 3" to factory exit location (new with engine) 2.75" DJM drop spindles (rotors/bearings/calipers replaced) qty=4 Firestone 224c 1/2" port airbags (2600 lb); pump tank and related f/r solenoids, switches, etc. CD stereo (Kenwood flip-face/remote), Grant wheel (typical for the era) The second is a completely stock 88 Gmc with FI 454, auto (I assume th400), 104k orig miles. They are asking about $300 more for this suburban, interior options/condition are the same on both
