BBC or SBC with blow thru set up?

So I am debating this very hard. I have never owned a BBC but I will tell you that there is a sound like no other when its an aluminum headed BBC with a solid roller and dumped mufflers. Since I have a SBC 355 in right now I was planning on doing a blow through set up until this motor blows then drop in a BBC and do the blow through since I will have everything else, just need to get new manifolds and fix the piping.

My question is this should I stick with the plan I have or drop in a BBC with a roots 8-71 blower and cruise around with no hood?

This truck is made to go out and have fun not be the fastest thing out there. ( I am building an LSx 03 Silverado with A/C and P/S for that )

Ideas and opinions are greatly appreciated guys.
