Edelbrock 1406 re calibrate HELP!!!

Hello board. I need some advice. I live in beautiful Las Cruces New Mexico, around 4000+ feet above sea level. My problem is my new Edelbrock 1406 makes the 350 run rich (RV cam, full length headers).I bought the carb calibration kit #1487 with various jets, rods and springs. Now Leland at summit racing who sold me the kit said it would be idiot proof ,but now as I look down into the kit I don't have a clue where to start,or which jets, ors or springs to use. Any help any one?
