Dana 60 lift question
Little embarassed to have to ask, but what is the best method of addressing the steering arm on a D60 front when lifting it? I have a 4 inch lift that came out of another truck, still looks new and includes shocks. Just had to buy all new u-bolts, which cost more than I paid for the srings, blocks and shocks. I realized I didn't get a steering arm. Checking around and found they have recurved steering arms, blocks to lift the stock steering arm, dropped pitman arms or s-shaped drag links.
So, with a 4 inch lift I'm assuming I will need to do something. Any ideas what is the best, and what is the cheapest? I've done an arm on a 3/4 ton dana44 before, but it looks like the 60 is different.
