Parts for my 72
Ok, so I'm pretty new here and never posted before. I may be in the wrong place so somebody help me out please?!
I've got a 72 3/4 ton 4x4 that's fully restored. It's a 350/4 speed combo and I've got it in the shop putting a new clutch in it. In the process, found that the cast support between the transmission and transfer case has been broken. It wouldn't be such a problem but it's been brazed before and developed a crack just beside it and another further away. Is there any company that may reproduce this? I'm striking out at all the local salvage yards. I've checked LMC, Brothers, Classic Industries, and Classic Parts with no luck. I've been told that it's a '70-'72 specific piece but a 1/2 ton may work for a 3/4 ton as long as it's a manual. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!
