New to me.. but Im not new to restoring.

Hi everyone. My name is Jason. I live in Cleveland ohio and have gotten a new toy. I have been restoring cars for many years and have just sold off my 62 volkswagen beetle for a 1968 GMC Long, Stepside C1500.
this truck was restored a few years back and has been sitting in storage since the restore. The PO put about 200 miles after all the work was done.

once I got it home and found a few thing I want to change. The truck had a set of over sized header mufflers with no pipes. So I pulled the mufflers and this weekend it is going to get a set of Summit 3" fully welded mufflers and 3" pipes to dump in front of the rear tires.

I pulled the stock wheel yesterday and got a LaCarr wheel for the truck. Did an oil change, changed the plugs and wires. Plus a new battery, old one wouldnt take a charge.

Here are some pics and I hope to see lots of you at the shows this year.
