Re: Started Repairing Floor Pans + Some

JRanger you should really take the time to get those body mount nuts out. Then when your buddy welds everything together he can weld something new in there. If you every have to change that body mount you will have to cut your new floor up and work down in a the hole that you made. As hard as it seems now it will be worth it down the road.
Also don't forget to put the support plate back on top of the supports. It holds the supports together instead of just relying on your new floor pan to do it. You can make one easy.
Here are the steps I used.
All blasted up


Painted with rust-shield


New plate made ready to spot weld in


Then a floor patch cut to fit the hole in the floor
