Hole in burb deck for pick up/sender access?

I did some searching but didn't find what I need. I'm thinking about cutting an access hole in the rear floor of the '69 suburban for access to the fuel pick up tube/sending unit. Has anyone done this or have measurements to do it? Thanks for any assistance you can offer.... LockDoc
