Gauge clusters - New vs. Original?
I going to replace the instrument panel gauge cluster in the 1971 Chevy my son and I are working on and will be upgrading to one with a tach.
I need to clarify the one we have now is in bad shape so just adding the tach isn't going to work. What’s the opinion of purchasing a new one from say - Classic Parts vs. purchasing a rebuilt/reconditioned unit? Who would be a good source for a rebuilt/freshened up original one? Thanks in advance!
