keep it a dually, or go srw?
had this truck for years now, I've been racking my brains trying to decide if I want to keep it a dually and put 19.5s on it, or convert it to srw so I can run military 37s. Always had lifted trucks, and I hate the way my 235/85s look so puny under this thing. If I go with direct bolt 19.5s and 225/70s, I will only get about an inch more height, but the big wheels will have some cool factor. Course, it will ride like crap...Other option I have is to make it srw and run the big rubber. 37s are cheap, wheels are a little hard to find, but then so are 19.5 8 lugs.
Biggest problem I face is having the narrow cab & chassis rear axle. Looks cool for tucking the 16s under the fleetside bed, and the 225/70/19.5s should fit too, not sure about 245/70/19.5s. I can run H1 wheels on the dually front axle, but not the rear. Or change the front and run normal offset wheels and spacers in the back... Somebody tell me what to do, I can't make up my damn mind.
