Looking to modify my 01 6.0 2500hd for torque
Would like to increase the towing performance and have some fun with the truck. Read this as torque and efficiency are what I care about. Not horsepower. No, I don't want a diesel. This truck has low miles, the right options/colors and I only like the 01 and 02 hd body styles so I'm not afraid to put money into it.
I'm thinking about either a magnuson supercharger to add about 150ft lbs or cam/tune/headers that would probably add 100 ft lbs. The cam/dynotune/high end headers would probably cost $4000 and the magnuson would cost about $5500. i like the easier ability to remove the magnuson should I decide to sell the truck in the future and i think it will allow more torque. What do you guys think is best?
