Instrument bezel 1970 C-10 - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Bear with me folks I'm new to the forum...went thru countless posts about removing the instrument bezel and mine is still hanging up on the middle to upper right near the wiper switch. Wiper switch knob and retainer ring is removed. Light switch knob and retainer ring also removed. Speedometer cable and oil pressure line also disconnected. It's almost like something in that right upper corner won't let go. Do I need to drop the steering column? Left side is totally loose.
Here I was going to put on a new dash pad and instrument bezel and I can't get past 1st base!
