getting the ball rolling..... again
Well after a long time I am finally getting my rear end in my 60 swapped out !
A few years back I rounded up a rear end off of a 67 and stashed it away. I also got an adjustable track bar, lowering springs with hardware, u joint, new axle saddles and u bolts. I was going thru a ruff patch ( as we all have) and put the truck on the back burner. Easy to do as it was drivable. I hope to have it back Monday, then I will do the drop spindle disc brake swap.( that I have also had for a while) The rear end has 5 lug axles so I am not sure what wheels to run, I have some stealies ,older 15" Cragar S/S , Some 15X8 newer style rallies ,100 spoke wires, and some 15 x8 Supremes. I'm leaning towards the Supremes but don't want to run a 235/75r15 white wall. Any suggestions? Stay tune as I up date this post
