Oakland Trucks in '61 ???
I have a 1961 Chevy Apache C10 and the Vin # is:
1c144 (0) 101058 Problem is, the "O" in the vin number right after the "44" doesn't show up in any of the online sites or in the vin# decoders. Being that I'm in California, I can assume it was a California built truck. Does anyone have any good information about trucks being made in Oakland as early as 1961? Did they make trucks in Oakland before that too? I see Oakland for the later model trucks but not 61 and before. Tom
