What is the differance

I am swapping from leaf to coils on my C-20, The coil spring truck has one center crossmember, the coil spring / trailing arm has reinforcments on the frame and the center crossmember looks heaver and has 3 rivet on the bottom along wuith two supports from the cc/ to the frame do i need all of this? or will it be weaker? also the carrier bearing is different. (pics to follow can't find right now) these pics are for the leaf spring.
