What is the differance

I am swapping from leaf to coils on my C-20, The coil spring truck has one center crossmember, the coil spring / trailing arm has reinforcments on the frame and the center crossmember looks heaver and has 3 rivet on the bottom along wuith two supports from the cc/ to the frame do i need all of this? or will it be weaker? also the carrier bearing is different. (pics to follow can't find right now) these pics are for the leaf spring.

Re: What is the differance

Coil spring cross member sees quite a bit more force from the trailing arms being mounted to it. Not familiar with the structural design differences, though. Coil spring trucks are basically pushed around by their center cross members, whereas leaf spring trucks apply forward and backward forces to the leaf spring mounts.
