Blazer fuel tank in C10
I have been looking at different options for a fuel tank for the rear of my 1971 C10 long bed. On a 72 I used a 67-72 blazer tank and did not like how it fit, and how much it hung down. I was thinking about getting a tank from boyd welding but that tank is $350 and is only 19 gal and my truck is a daily driver and my round trip drive is 80 miles a day. I also plan to later go to after market fuel injection or a LS engine so I want a tank that I can easily install a in tank fuel pump. So now I am looking at the 1987 Blazer tank. It is 25 gal and it looks like it will fit.
Any one use this tank? Also does any one know what sending unit will fit the tank that is not a sending unit with a fuel pump? The hope here is to just be able to change sending units and add the fuel pump if/when I go to fuel injection. It looks like it will be tight behind the bumper, will a hidden hitch still fit?
