Pinion angle

Hello all,

Just looking for some opinions on my pinion angle before I commit to a course of action. The truck is a 72 Jimmy with 4" tough country springs in the front, ORD shackle reversal and 2" tough country springs in the rear. The truck sits nice and level with the top on and no longer looks like a dog dragging his hind quarters on the carpet. The shackle flip and converting from an automatic transmission have left me with a 10 degree difference in drive line angle and pinion angle. I'm wondering with the six inch total lift in the back if the drive line angle is too steep for single u-joints?

Option (1) a 10 degree shim from DIY4X4 for under $50
Option (2) cut off and weld on new spring perches for under $50
Option (3) go to a double cardan joint in the rear which will be expensive to have a drive shaft built.

Thanks for your input
