LQ9 motor transplant help

Hey all,

I am not really new on the site but have been on a hiatus with my build. I am finally getting started. I have a 69 c-10 long bed. And i am about to drop a LQ9 with an nv4500 tranny behind it. My question is. Do I have to change the drive shaft to accommodate the extra ponies that were not there when it had the original straight 6 in it? Also does anyone have any recommendations on what exhaust manifolds will work on our trucks fo clear the frame rails? Any other advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
