Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II

Removed a few parts for heater & evap. box removal. Takes me twice as long to take notes. Turns out I'm writing a book. I'm say 12% percent into dismantling this, and just my assembly manual is 10 pages long, and not as winded as I am.........Wait.......... The original intention was just a good reference for the novice (me) for reassembly in 1-3 years, but in my line of work it just comes natural. Time consuming..........*&(*&^.

Also cut these off the frame. The brackets were for a fifth wheel, and the flat piece of steel was for a receiver hitch also welded to a rear step bumper. That hitch maybe original or dealer add on? There was also a boat launching hitch welded onto from bumper (yippee!), saddle tanks, camper mirrors. Suffice to say the original owner liked the RV life. Lucky for me he picked the wrong truck for it (SWB). Near as lucky was locating a "new" bed decades later. That was a score.
