I bought some Sylvania halogens today at the parts store. They are a 6024h. I was told by the guy behind the counter that they are a direct replacement. I have read some threads on here stating our old wiring and switches cant handle the draw. I told the guy about this and he told me they no longer carry a 6014(which I think is the OEM replacement) and that these are what have replaced the old style 6014s. Do I need to upgrade to a relay setup or just get 6014s. These parts houses nowadays really bug me because it seems no one knows a thing about what they are selling. I would rather take them back and order 6014s online if I have to before buying the relays and turning a 15 minute job into a couple of hour job as I have little time this time of year to spare. Thanks for any input.
