EFI Conversion Fuel Tanks... LH or RH?

Hey guys, I know the single tank 70s trucks are passenger side tank and the single tank 80s trucks were driver's side. My question is, if I'm trying to convert my 74 over to an EFI/TBI 87 tank, do I want to use a RH or LH tank, or does it not matter?

I would assume 70s guys would use the RH tank from an 87, and the 80s trucks would use the LH tank. I'm trying to order my tank, but I'd like to get some input from you all. Btw - my truck is a dual tank so I could go either side (I don't plan on messing with a dual tank transfer system when I go EFI).

I'm asking because I also need to get a sending unit/ hanger from a TBI truck, but apparently they're different for the driver vs the passenger tanks!
