Re: 1970 GMC Suburban... for the family
Well, quick update. Been busy since moving back to CO. Added another kiddo to the mix, Harrell James. Born 12-7-17. That brings the count up to 5. My wife brought me a picture and said "this is what I want the suburban to look like" so she has been planning a trip to go get it. The power train is all ready to go for it, I estimate another 300 to 350 hours of work to finish it. Some projects I have finished since moving;
My dad's jeep: I rebuilt the 4.0L, swapped in an AW4, did a MML, 1"body lift, tank tuck, and a few other doodads. This is the project I brought out from CA Built a "spare" truck for work: 93 K3500 6.5L. And then the biggest project: 1986 F350 460 to Cummins swap. Once I install the cruise control, this sucker is done. It was a long, big project that ended up with me rebuilding absolutely everything on the truck or replacing it. There is a build thread in the diesel swap section, "well it's not a Chevy". Honestly, most of my disappearance is due to photo bucket and picasa screwing up the internet. This summer I am bringing the 95 crew/cummins out to finish it for my brother and then spring I'll be getting the burb. Sorry about the picture orientation. I have tried everything to edit them before hand to get them to post right, but they still return to the original format.
