Tire size on 6 lug rally wheel
Guys,
Hope all is well for you. So I have the original rims with PO1 wheel cover currently on my 69. A few weeks ago a close friend of mine found me 4 OEM older used 6 lug rally wheels with the rings and newer style Chevy Bow tie center caps. Of course for the price I jumped on them. They are standard 15x8 and in really nice condition. I have a stock longbed 69 and don’t plan to change th height at all. So I have seen some trucks go with 255/70/15 front with 275/70/15 rear, I don’t know if that works out for stock trucks. Thoughts on tire sizes for my truck, that will work for a stock truck but to also fill out the wheel wells some....I plan also to keep the other wheels covers and rims as well but wanted to ride with some rally’s for a bit. Anyway sorry so long, thanks for suggestions. BTW I do try to respond when I can but when at work can’t so thanks in advance for the help! Kris
